Rev. Dave Latham, a PCA pastor, was born in Charleston, SC, and raised in Greenwood, SC. He graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, earning a degree in business management in 2003, and later completed his M.Div. from RTS Charlotte in 2010. After seminary, he became a campus minister and planted RUF at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA, where he served from 2010 to 2015. Following his time in Virginia, Dave returned to Charlotte to assume the role of Director of Admissions at RTS Charlotte while also serving as an Assistant Pastor at Uptown Church. From 2019 to 2024, he was the Senior Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Fort Payne, AL, and he currently holds the position of Chief Admissions and Communications Officer at Birmingham Theological Seminary.
He met his wife, Rebecca, at Camp Greystone, and they have been happily married since 2003. Rebecca graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in Geological Engineering and later earned her Master's Degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. They are proud parents of two children, Stokes and Ellie-Grace, who both enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with friends. In his free time, Dave enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, listening to classic rock, talking about reformed theology, and smoking BBQ to share with friends. Additionally, he is a musician and plays in a local dad band named Dad Company.
